Devon Land Tax Records

Devon Land Tax Records 1780 - 1832
An index of Heads of Households in 108 parishes

This CD index lists the names of over 310,000 people, with their dates and parishes, in the Land Tax records of 108 Devon parishes, and includes the 42 parish indexes previously published by AIGS in booklet form.
Each name entry includes the film number required to access the microfilm copy of the original land tax record in which it appears. Each record is linked to a map of Devon pinpointing the parish, and to a parish profile adapted for family history purposes from White's 1850 History, Gazetteer and Directory of Devonshire.
The fully searchable database is powered by QFHSdatasearch-version 1.11
